Paulo César Batista de Faria, better known as Paulinho da Viola, (Rio de Janeiro, November 12, 1942) is a singer, songwriter and Brazilian guitarist, son of guitarist César Faria (set crying Golden Age).
Early career was Paulinho partner of illustrious names of the samba carioca, like Top Hat, Elton Medeiros and Candela, among others. It stands out as a samba singer and composer, but also composes cries and is considered one of the most talented representatives called Brazilian Popular Music.
